Through Beauty's Eyes

This journal is the home of a COMPLETED, multi-chaptered adaptation of the classic folktale Beauty and the Beast. It draws its inspiration partially from: Jean Cocteau's 1946 film La Belle et la Bête, the ubiquituous 1991 adaptation by Disney, and of course the well-known written version by Mme Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont, dated 1756. Several changes have been made, of course, for the sake of originality and interest. In this adaptation, the role of 'Beauty' is played by a young man named Jean. Sensitive readers should be warned that this story contains prevalent homoerotic themes, and those offended by such are advised not to read. For those readers who are not bothered by the above, please read and enjoy! Any and all feedback, especially constructive criticism, is welcomed.
